The public company profile dates the business to 1979, when Paul C. Koomey founded Koomey Inc. Its published capabilities include custom engineering, software design, fabrication and assembly, installation, repair, refurbishment and equipment upgrades.

Drilling Controls is associated with the Type 80 BOP control-system lineage. Its profile describes land and offshore drilling, subsea MUX and production control systems. The historical record is important to understanding the equipment family.

A documented transition

AXON’s 2015 BOP controls brochure places Drilling Controls Inc. in the 2006–2009 period and AXON Pressure Products from 2009. We keep that transition visible rather than presenting a legacy profile as a statement of current ownership or certification.
