Type 80 history

1979 onward

The public company profile identifies Koomey Inc., established by Paul C. Koomey in 1979, as the origin of this equipment lineage. AXON’s published brochure traces subsequent names through M.H. Koomey, Koomey Companies International, ABB, Offshore Systems and Vetco Gray.

That brochure places Drilling Controls Inc. in 2006–2009 and AXON Pressure Products from 2009. These are dated corporate-history references; they do not establish a present-day appointment or certification.
