Repair and upgrades
Repair, refurbishment, OEM parts and equipment upgrades within the published capability of Drilling Controls.
Establish the baseline
Identify the equipment and gather its configuration and service history before defining the work. An assessment should distinguish repair, replacement and a change to the design. Each has a different effect on documentation, review and acceptance.
Agree the work
The scope connects the observed condition with the proposed intervention and the evidence needed at completion. Parts identification and revision control are essential. Where the history is incomplete, resolve the uncertainty before making assumptions about compatibility.
Return a clear record
The completion package should make the work understandable to the next person responsible for the equipment. Record the scope, relevant changes and the supporting inspection or test evidence. A well-maintained record supports the next service decision.
